TON Station provides a simple and straightforward introduction to Telegram's internal TON coin, but earning opportunities are somewhat limited at present

NATURE OF WORK AND PAYMENT

TON Station pays out exclusively in the Telegram TON crypto token; well, to be precise, it pays out in its own internal points which can then be converted to its own SOON token or to TON from there. 

It's kinda like a "get paid to" GPT site, but contained entirely within the Telegram ecosystem. There is some limited free SOON every day for checking in, but most of the "earning" activity stems from trying out other Telegram games or apps that are linked from here and reaching certain thresholds in them. Naturally, they've also worked in a bit of a gambling aspect with "loot crate" and NFT type stuff, but this is optional and not overly stressed or any sort of a requirement.

SITE HISTORY / LEGITIMACY

TON Station is owned by a partnership of two game developers, Sidus Heroes & SuperVerse, that have been active in the Web3 gaming space for some years now. The mini-app has been around since 2024, is approved by Telegram and does not appear to be any sort of scam risk. While it requires access to a wallet to receive your funds, it goes through the standard platform handshake and does not request permission to withdraw without authorization. 

Sidus has recently announced that it is bearish on Web3 games in general going forward and is pausing new game development, but is making TON Station one of its new points of focus going forward. Whether that means more non-gaming activity is planned remains up in the air, but it is a possibility given that they made pretty clear they think crypto games are going nowhere in the near term.

STARTING OUT

To receive any payments for your efforts, you do need a wallet that can receive SOON and TON. There are several options but probably the most straightforward is Wallet.tg , which is built directly into Telegram and features easy setup with your choice of going custodial (they maintain control but you can get help with recovery via email) or non-custodial (you get a seed phrase and no one else can control access to your wallet but if you lose the phrase you're not getting back in). 

So let's cover the daily freebies first. Once every eight hours, you can check in and press the "farm" button to collect a total of about 28 SOON. You also get one daily free spin on a prize wheel, which can potentially land on more free spins. The "daily combo" has you basically guess squares for up to 2000 SOON depending on how many correct guesses you get (and you can retry once per hour until you get something), and sometimes there are limited-time mini-games like finding hidden mittens scattered about the various pages for more rewards.

Then there's the "lottery" section, which is really more like instant prize games that you can get some free tickets for each day by watching ads. This is extremely similar to mobile ads on GPT sites, but it's all for Telegram stuff and other Web3-type games and they tend to be shorter (and transition and end on their own). 

"Quests" is the meat of the earnings action. This is basically like a GPT site, with various other games and apps offering you a SOON reward to try them out or reach different goals (or spend some funds in them) by following a tracking link here. There are also usually at least a few Telegram channels you can follow to get a reward of around 2000-5000 SOON or so. 

If you just want to explore other games that offer their own earnings systems without the GPT goals aspect, there's also the "Launcher" tab off of the home page. This catalogs numerous similar games that plug into the whole TON earning ecosystem. 

PROBLEMS WITH TON STATION

The app overall is navigable, but I wouldn't call it entirely user-friendly. One issue is that a bunch of its "offers" are really a pitch to pay TON or fiat for something, but that's really not clear until you click on them (like most of the internal Mr. Soon "community" quests). Errantly clicking through these will just get you auto-rejected if your wallet doesn't have enough funds, and you'll be prompted to authorize the transaction if you do, but it's still annoying and adds a learning curve as you just have to recognize what looks like a sales pitch rather than an earning offer.

FINAL VERDICT - Might Work For You

SOON isn't a total shitcoin as it has some minimal value, nor is TON at about $1.50 as of this writing. But, like pretty much all the "free crypto" sites, this isn't a regular or steady earner. It's more for people who believe in the future of these tokens and plan to sit on them; the app does offer a staking option for that purpose that promises to return about 19%, though I haven't made nearly enough to bother fiddling with it.

So what does the future look like? Well, there is general optimism for TON simply due to Telegram's global install base of nearly a billion people. The platform already has several internal wallet options integrated and the ability to buy/sell/trade, but the flip side of that is it's pretty much an unregulated hive of scams and villainy. Personally I think such free places should exist, but if your future hinges on onboarding non-tech-savvy normies and getting them to use a payment system in such an environment, that's not a real great situation.
